LIFESTYLE VALUES
Imagine that you are in charge. You can do what you want, the way you want. But knowing what is important to you takes some clarification. Here is an easy self-assessment exercise that can help you decide if you are getting what you want from your life. Check those aspects that are important. Then create a list of what you value most. Since today's world of employment is a world of "ands" not "either/ors," there is no need to force-rank these values. Instead of trying to weigh one against another, assume you could have them all and indicate the priority you put on each.
A=ESSENTIAL B=IMPORTANT C=DESIRABLE N=NEUTRAL U=UNDESIRABLE
In a life with many options, you can have as many A's as is the truth for you. Someone may have only one or two A's. Another will have ten to fifteen and won't be happy settling for fewer.
